The present investigation was undertaken with a view to identify the models for predicting district wise crop hectareage of cotton crop in the Amreli district of Gujarat state. The investigation was carried out on the basis of secondary data covering the period of 21 years (2000-01 to 2020-21). The linear multiple regression technique adopting Nerlovian adjustment model was employed. Eight single equation and four simultaneous equation models were tried for the selected crop.
