The fixed lifetime inventory system with two products having the same shelf life

Abstract: Most often the sales of one product depends on the availability of another product closely related to it in usage. In this work, we derive the total cost function for a fixed lifetime inventory system with two products, closely related in usage and having the same shelf life. Also, the results of simulating the model shows the number of outdates is reduced to its minium.
