Lot acceptance criteria for products following attribute single sampling plan and its impact towards discretization of some continuous lifetime distributions

Abstract: In this article, the conventional formation of designing an attribute sampling plan based on continuous lifetime distributions is modified for the situation because some data are discrete in nature, even for the continuous variables. In such situation, the alternative approach attempted in this paper, which includes derivation for the discrete continuous distributions such as Discrete Exponential-logarithmic distribution, Discrete Exponential-geometric distribution, Discrete Weibull-Logarithmic distribution. As well as the acceptance sampling plan procedure is performed for the Discrete Weibull-geometric distribution with finding the minimum sample size and OC curve also performed. For better understanding, illustrations for the proposed plans are also appended at the end.
