Generalized exponential ratio estimator for estimating population parameters

Abstract: In this paper we proposed a modified exponential ratio estimator for estimating the population mean using simple random sampling. We derive the expression of MSE up to the first degree of approximation. We also derive various estimators as special cases and validate the results using numerical illustration.
