Abstract: This study examines the characteristics and behavioral patterns of farmers who contact and do not contact progressive farmers for agricultural information in the Bundelkhand region of U.P. Statistical tests were applied to analyze differences in age, farming experience, landholding, income, mass media exposure, knowledge levels, critical thinking traits, and innovativeness. The findings suggest that income and critical thinking significantly influence a farmer's decision to seek information from progressive farmers, while other factors such as age, farming experience, and knowledge levels do not play a significant role.
