Intercropping of Kharif crops in olive plantation

Abstract:
The investigations to evaluate the effect of different Kharif crops in olive plantation on plant growth and yield parameters so the field experiment was conducted at Regional Research Station, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Kothara, Kachchh, Gujarat during Kharif season of the years 2019, 2020 and 2022. From the results, highest grain yield i.e. 1135.76 kg/ha was recorded Olive intercrop with cluster bean while the highest stover yield was found with olive intercrop with moth bean. These results provide baseline information to promote an eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture.
