Impact analysis of the ICT for e-governance in agricultural development of Bastar district using random forest technique

Abstract:
A survey-based study was conducted regarding the issues faced by the government in implementing policies related to ICT in Bastar district. The survey conducted in seven blocks during 2023-24 in Bastar district. In this study, a total of 09 constraints related to ICT were selected i.e. Resource related issue, Level of computer illiteracy, Limited citizens awareness, Challenges of language, Resistance to change, Lack of trained person, storage of equipments, Level of difficulty, Gender. The Alpha method was used to test the reliability of data. Three classification methods were used: J-48, CART, and Random Forest. The model selection was primarily based on sensitivity, accuracy, specificity, and F1 score. According to our research, the Random Forest method was found to be the best.
