Abstract: In this paper, we analyzed blood flow in hepatic venules. The viscosity of blood increases in venules due to more formation of rouleaux along the axis of red blood cells as at the same venules are remote from the heart and proximate to liver so, we applied the Herschel-Bulkley non-Newtonian model in Bio-fluid mechanical setup. Employing Navier-Stoke equation and equation of continuity in cylindrical co-ordinate system and all required mathematical formations are in tensorial form. Using by numerical method we calculated the value of parameter for a clinical data. Finally, we obtained a linear relationship between blood pressure drop and hematocrit for particular value of parameter and discussed in the graph.
