Effect of ta41 on growth, yield and quality of long melon (Cucumis melo L.)

Abstract: A field experiment was conducted during March to May, 2022 at Horticulture Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three replications and ten treatment combinations. Kakri Chandra was selected for this study. The results indicated that application of (T8) Soil drenching of TA41 @ 25ml/l + foliar spray 50ml/spray tank recorded maximum Vine length (96.07cm), leaf length (12.07cm), Leaf area (85.73cm2), No. of leaves per plant (23.87), Days to first flowering (36.73 DAS), No. of fruit per plant (10.78), Length of fruit (29.65cm), Weight of fruit (144.63g), fruit Width(25.09mm), Weight of fruit per plant (1.56 kg), and yield (37.14 t/ha) TSS (12.55 0Brix), shelf life (3 Days).
